In 2016, Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced that it will soon launched an online degree attestation and verification system in Pakistan. In order to manage the online degree system in the country, HEC has now successfully introduced this system. The online degree attestation and verification system will help the public to attest and verify their degrees while sitting at homes. This will hence reduce the problem and efforts of people standing in long ques and wait for hours. HEC Online Degree Attestation and Verification System Launched.

Now How to Verify & Attest your Degree Online from HEC?

Please follow following steps in order to online verify and attest your degrees from HEC:

Step -I: Go to HEC Portal:

Step – II: Create your account, if you don’t have already account on this portal.

Step – III: Create your account by entering your CNIC, region (city) and Mobile number.

Step – IV: A code will be sent on your mentioned mobile number. Enter that code in your form.

Step – V: Now you can log in and will be able to see following options on the Dashboard:

  • My Applications : This section shows the high level status of the application (saved, Submitted, In process, Attested, Rejected)
  • My Tasks : In this section, tasks will appear which are pending on applicants e.g. Revise Application form or Application Scheduling.
  • My Profile: In this section, users need to fill their profile by adding Personal, Contact and Education details.

Step – VI: Upload scanned copies of all your educational documents, CNIC (Front and Back Side), profile photo (Passport Size Photo), your scanned documents size must not exceed from 500 kb size. Click on the “Save and Close” button after uploading these mentioned documents.

Step – VII: Now access your”Application Form” by simply clicking on the ‘Accreditation and Attestation’ menu item and further clicking “Application Form” under the “Degree Attestation System”.

Step – VIII: Fill this online application form by completing all the tabs that are given in this application form.

Step – IX: Now you have to choose from the options of what type of document you want to attest. You can select from

the Attest New Degree:

  • Duplicate Attestation
  • Supplementary Attestation
  • Update An attested Degree

In “HEC Center” the Center, Once Selected can not be Changed Later on; So be Careful in Selecting Center

Step – X: Select the desired HEC center i.e. Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta or Peshawar from the given list.

Step – XI: After successful completion of profile  application along with uploading of documents, submit the online application by clicking the button “Submit”. After submitting the application, you will get a pop-up message, showing successful submission.

Step – XII: After submission of online application by the applicant, the HEC officials will scrutinize the documents.

Step – XIII: However, based on scrutiny, the applicant may need to revise the application form by uploading some other documents etc.

Step – XIV: After successful scrutiny, the applicant will receive a message & email for scheduling his visit according to his convenience.

You are done. your degrees are now attested !!!
