The decision is taken on the basis of excessive use of mobile phones during school timings. We must agree to the harsh reality that children these days are quite much in to the use of smartphones. They are wasting more time on a mobile phone than any other useful activity. While reducing the use of phones at schools, the Government of France as come up with the decision to ban smartphones in schools. Govt of France to Ban Smartphones in Schools from September 2018. The French government is to ban students from using mobile phones in the country’s primary, junior and middle schools.

Children will be allowed to bring their phones to school, but not allowed to get them out at any time until they leave, even during breaks.

Education officials are now studying how the mobile ban can be put into effect.

If we look at Pakistani society, then we have to agree on the fact that parents easily give mobile phones to their children all the time. Of course, they smartphones are not allowed in schools which is something very good in our country.
